“This activity was a very good price and was done very well. The building is easy to find from Osakajokoen station (just across the river). And the experience shares a room with a calligraphy room. With that said, for the total price, the sensei guides you through sword swinging motions. Once it's satisfactory, he then goes to more advanced movements. The final part is you cutting through what looks like bamboo (actually it's tatami mat). It also includes pictures and they're more than willing to take pictures on your phone as well.
